Louis A. Hudy, 88 of Endwell, went to be with the Lord, Monday, November 19, 2018 at Mercy House of the Southern Tier after a brief illness. He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Mary Hudy; his sisters, Theresa Longcoy, Betty Jane Harvey; his brother, David Hudy. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Marilyn (Murphy) Hudy; two sons, John Hudy, Martin (Loretta) Hudy; four grandchildren, Daniel (Amy) Hudy, Meaghan Hudy, Domenica and Kristen Hudy; one great-granddaughter, Eliana; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann (Steve) Samsonik; two brothers-in-law, Tom (Arlene) Longcoy, Walt Harvey; one sister-in-law, Rose Hudy; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Endicott, a Veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean War, a retired employee of IBM, with 39 years of service and a member of the Endicott Elks Lodge, #1977. He was a loving and patient husband, father and grandfather who was devoted to his family and faith. He was the Chairman and CEO of the H.I.T. Golf Tournament and an avid Notre Dame fan.

Funeral services will be held, Saturday 9:30 AM from the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott and at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church where a Funeral Mass will be held. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home on Friday from 5 to 7 PM.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to Mercy House 212 N. McKinley Ave. Endicott, NY 13760.
