It is with great sadness that the family of Jessie Louise Nixon of Endicott, NY announces her passing after an extended illness, on Sunday December 23, 2018 at the age of 71 years at her home with family.
She is survived by her husband John Nixon of 47 years, her children Chad and his wife Enid Nixon of Endicott, NY and Lauren and her husband Peter Zerger of Houston, TX; 3 grandchildren Collin and Ella Nixon of Endicott, NY and Allie Warwick of Tulsa, Ok and 3 great grandchildren. Jessie will also be forever remembered by her extended family and many dear friends.
She was a member of Union Center United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at “The Nixon Pavilion”. Her legacy is her kind and gentle soul, which was always on display. Her greatest joy was watching her grandchildren and their friends grow. Everyone was always welcome in her home and you couldn’t get in or out of her house without a big “Grandma hug” or an “I Love you”. She will truly be missed.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 28th at 1:00 pm at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott with the Rev. Mark Kimpland, Pastor of Endwell United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Maine Cemetery in Maine, NY. The family will receive friends at Leon Pucedo Funeral Home during calling hours on Thursday, December 27th from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
