Vicki (Chonka) Larnerd, 73 of Endicott, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020, at Wilson Hospital after a long illness. She was predeceased by her parents, Victor and Vivian Chonka; her sister, Trudy Magardino (Russ); her brother, Chuck Chonka; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Jennie Larnerd; her brother-in-law, Donald Larnerd, Jr.; her sisters-in-law, Betty Staub and Sharon Orme; her best friend, Cathy Peters. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Robert L. Larnerd; two children, Bobby Larnerd, Nicole Bertoni (Tim Coughlin); three grandchildren, Jayden Larnerd, Dominic Bill, Dante Bertoni; her sister-in-law, Carol Chonka; her in-laws, Howell Larnerd, Pauline (Sam) DeBellis, Bob Staub, Gary Orme; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Endwell, a former employee of IBM and a retired employee of Security Mutual, Binghamton. She was a kind, loving, and caring person and she always enjoyed long shopping days with Nicole and Cathy. She will forever be loved and missed. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 30th at 3:00 PM at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott, NY with Rev. Jeffrey Bohan, pastor of her church, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00 PM until time of service.
