Marie A. Smith, 78 of Johnson City, NY, passed away peacefully Thursday October 21, 2021. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Jennie Struppler; her brothers, Ronald and Charles Struppler. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Richard Smith; her son, Michael (Christine) Smith; her brother, Donald (Joni) Struppler; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Endicott. Marie was an extraordinary homemaker who loved to cook and bake and especially enjoyed the holidays with her family and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be offered Wednesday October 27, 2021 at 10 AM at St. Joseph's Church 207 Hayes Ave. Endicott, NY 13760. Burial will follow in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 9AM until time of Mass at 10AM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to either The Animal Care Council 131 Washington Ave. Endicott, NY 13760 or Mercy House 212 N. McKinley Ave. Endicott, NY 13760.
