Sebastian (Sam) Rossi, 82 of Endicott, passed away peacefully Thursday April 29, 2021 at his home. He was predeceased by his parents, Luigi and Francesca Rossi and his brother-in-law, Matteo Tiberia. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Eve (Battaglini) Rossi; two daughters, Francine (Robert) Killian and Arleen Rossi; his grandson, Matthew Killian; two sisters, Lydia Tiberia and Antoinette (Donato) Roberto; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott, a member of the Order Sons of Italy in America, Binghamton Lodge #487 and the Northside Sausage Club. He was the owner of Rossi’s Pizza and Market, Endicott for over 30 years. The family would like to thank the Doctors and staff of UHS and Guthrie for the compassionate care given to Sam.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 9:30 AM from the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott, NY followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church 300 Odell Ave. Endicott, NY at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home on Monday evening from 5 to 7 PM. The Binghamton Sons of Italy Lodge will hold a prayer service Monday at 6:45 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to Mercy House 212 N. McKinley Ave. Endicott, NY 13760.
