Shirley Zaharris, of Vestal, NY, passed away Sunday May 16, 2021 at her home. She was predeceased by her companion Charles Pickert; her parents Bruce and Marion Dean; her son James Zaharris; her brothers Lloyd and Raymond Dean; her sister Lorraine Hammond; and the father of her children, Edward Zaharris. She is survived by four children, Edward Zaharris, Jr., John Zaharris, Debbie Millward (Chris Gow), Margaret (Tom) Hoskins; her grandchildren, Spencer Zaharris, John (Lani Sue) Zaharris, Nicholas Zaharris, Tonya Zaharris, Edward (Lindsey) Ruffo, James Millward (Allison Lynn), Christopher Hoskins; her great-grandchildren, Emma, Hudson, Dawson, Adalynn and Desiree; her brothers Douglas (Wilma) Dean and Roy Dean; her sister Margaret Griffith; also several nieces, nephews, cousins and Bingo friends. She was a retired employee of Universal, Singer-Link and Three Arrows. She was a former member of the American Legion #1254, Binghamton. At Shirley’s request there will be no formal services.
