Robert Angelo (Moose) Musa, 94 of Endicott, NY (formerly of Lake Norman, NC) went to be with the Lord, Tuesday June 15, 2021. He was predeceased by his parents Dominick and Anna Musa; his sister Florence (Pat) Fiorelli and his sister-in-law Patricia Musa. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years Laura; his daughter Debra Musa-Cross and her husband Philip; his son David Musa and his wife Elsa; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; two sisters Dorothy Marconi and Phyllis (George) Koury; his brother Richard Musa; his sisters-in-law Jeri Faggioni, Faye Coonick and Penny Sheehan; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bob grew up on the north side of Endicott and worked at Battaglini’s Bakery as a young man before joining the US Navy and serving in World War II. He retired from IBM and was a former member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Morrisville, NC. He was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus member, Assembly #2417 of Denver, NC and a current member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott, NY. He enjoyed Civil War memorabilia as well as reading maps and volunteering at the North Carolina Visitor’s Center assisting people with directions. He was an avid Purple Martin enthusiast who established and maintained Martin Colonies every year with his friend Dr. Bill Green. He also loved spending time at his brothers cottage in Sylvan Beach, NY. Bob was friendly and outgoing with a great sense of humor, making him the life of the party.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday June 19th at St. Anthony of Padua Church 300 Odell Ave. Endicott, NY at 11:30 AM. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at St. Anthony’s Church on Saturday from 10:30 AM until the time of Mass at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in his memory to Mercy House 212 N.
