David Jon English, 56 of Johnson City, NY, passed away Sunday January 23, 2022 after a long battle with illness. He was predeceased by his father, Jon English; his sister, Annmarie English. He is survived by his son Dante, who was his pride and joy; his mother, Marie English; his sisters, Kim (Bob) Arnold, Angela English (Kir Noel), Michelle (Nick) Putrino; his aunts, Kay Menichetti and Judy Mulligan; his uncle, Jeff English; his dear friends, Myron Menichetti, David and Ray Ray Iannone, and Kevin Decker; also many nieces, nephews and cousins.
David was a landscaper until his health forced him into early retirement. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan and enjoyed working on cars with his son. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 28, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church 300 Odell Ave. Endicott, NY 13760. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 4:00 PM until 5:45 PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to Mercy House 212 N. McKinley Ave. Endicott, NY 13760.
