Eleanor Dolores (Battaglini) Convertino, 95, of Endicott, NY and summer resident of Forest Lake, PA, passed away with her family by her side on Friday, October 21, 2022.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Joseph; her parents, Lena M. (Dellapenta) and Sylvester Sam Battaglini; 3 brothers, Albert, Bernard and Donald Battaglini and 3 sisters, Virginia Zandy, Annette Sementelli and Edith Christina. She is survived by her son, Bernard Convertino; daughters Candace (John) Roscoe, Karen (Joseph) Gance and Dominica (Eric) Wolfe. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, Alexandra and Lea Gance, Natasha, Zachary and Claudia Wolfe, John (Renee) Roscoe, William (Lisa) Roscoe; 5 great-grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan, Ethan, Olivia, and Alayna Roscoe as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was a lifelong member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and the true matriarch of her family. She was an excellent cook who welcomed many into her purple kitchen. “Elle” was a classy woman with great taste, strong opinions, and had endless love for her family and the NY Giants. A special thanks to her daughter, Karen, who made it possible for mom to be happily living in her home.
A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday October 27th at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church 300 Odell Ave. Endicott, NY. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. There will be no calling hours.
