Albert M. Vieira, 67 of Endwell, passed away suddenly, Saturday December 3, 2022.
He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Hilda Vieira; his sister, Ruth Wood. He is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly (McLain); his children, Andy, Mark (Stephanie), Frank (Debra), Tim (April); his step-children, Brian (Arianna) Metera, Kaitlyn (Matthew) Whipp, Jonathan (Brittany) Metera; his grandchildren, Abilyn, Myles, Kyra, Gisella, Soledad, Mejandra, Belmiro, Emmett and Elaine Vieira, Sophia and Eloise Whipp; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was a member of the Endwell United Methodist Church. He was a seasoned sports columnist and newspaper industry veteran. He was currently employed at the Cortland Standard and formerly employed at the Press and Sun Bulletin as a managing editor.
Funeral services will be held Friday December 9th at 5:00 PM at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott, NY, with the Rev. Mark Kimpland, Pastor of his church, officiating. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home on Friday from 3 to 5 PM.
