God bless our loving mother who went to join her husband in heaven. Mary Weiskopff, 93 of Endicott, passed away, Friday, February 4, 2022, at Lourdes Hospital with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Donald Weiskopff; parents Constantine and Domenica Mingarelli; brothers Robert and Joseph; and sisters Leanora Scarinzi (Ted) and Theresa Howell (Edward); survived by six children Dennis Weiskopff (Sandy VanVestrout); Carolyn (Frank) Rogers; Timothy Weiskopff; Bernadette (Chung) Ma; Marilyn Grenchus; and Thomas (Erine) Weiskopff; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Phyllis and Jiggs Mingarelli; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her marriage to our father began as a blind date in which a proposal for marriage was sealed with a song, “Be My Love”. They were married and started a family. She was a graduate of Union Endicott High School, Class of 1946, and a member of St. Ambrose Church. She was a kind, giving, and loving person who devoted much of her time to family—character values she instilled within her children. She was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her grandchildren, gardening, sewing, baking, and assisting leaders with the Brownies and Girl Scouts Troops in Endicott. She will be remembered forever as a gracious mother with a huge heart.
A special thank you to her caregivers for their compassion over the last few years. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. (1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott) on Friday, February 11th from 11 AM to 1 PM, following with funeral services at 1 PM. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
