Marie Alberti, 85, passed into eternal rest May 1, 2022 after an extended illness. Marie was born June 14, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY. She was predeceased by her husband of 37 years Salvatore J. Alberti, and her parents Michelina (May) and Julius Attonito. She is survived by her children Jacqueline and Kurt Todeschi, (Denver, CO), Michael A. Alberti, (Endicott, NY), Marisa Alberti (New York City); her grandchildren Michael J. and Denawa Alberti, Meghan Alberti, Corey Alberti, Doug and Anna Nugent, Juliana Todeschi, and Jarod Todeschi; two great grand children, Salvatore Nugent and Kyra Williams; and her brother Ralph Attonito (Greendale, WI) as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Marie graduated from St Angela Hall High School in Brooklyn, NY and Wagner College, Staten Island, NY. Prior to her life as a homemaker and volunteer, Marie worked as a Social Worker for The New York Foundling and as an elementary school teacher. Marie worked tirelessly contributing back to the community, helping others and enjoyed volunteering at Mom’s House, Mercy House, and Church of the Holy Family.
A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday May 10th at 6:00 p.m. at The Church of the Holy Family 3600 Phyllis St. Endwell, NY. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Church on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
