Our Mother, Angelina M. Roach, 93, played her final round of golf on August 25, 2022. She passed peacefully with a smile, with her daughter Ann-Marie and granddaughter Elise gently holding her hands. She has transitioned from Earth to Heaven to be with her beloved husband, The Honorable Camille M. Roach, beloved granddaughter Fallon Nicole Roach, and many dear family and friends who passed before.
She is survived by her children, Maureen (Phil) May, Tony (Cathy) Roach, Paul (Michele) Roach, Ann-Marie Roach, Fran Roach, and Rania Roach; her grandchildren, Elise, Kristina, Kelsey, Heidi, and Francis Camille, and great grandchildren; Lucian, Dejanel, Audric, and her beloved loyal doggie, Millie.
Angelina was born on July 20, 1929 in Binghamton, the daughter of Anthony and Antoinette Castelli. Throughout her life she was known by many loving names; Angelina, Angie, Mrs. Roach, Mom, Tita, Mimi, and Grandma. She greatly loved, and was loved by her family; the best Mom we could ever have. Everyone in the neighborhood knew the sound of her famous whistle, calling the kids in from play – It could be heard all the way to Mersereau Park!
Strong in her faith, she would always say goodbye with a “God Bless You Abundantly!” She carried her love of God into everything she did, be it golf, cooking, painting, singing in a Bereavement Choir and most of all, her family. Her Calling Hours and Funeral will be at St. Ambrose Church in Endicott, on Friday September 16th, 2022. Beginning at 10:00a.m with the funeral mass following at 11:00.a.m.
