Josephine T. Iannone, 99 of Endicott, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 26, 2023.
She was predeceased by her parents, Nicola and Mariannina Iannone; her brother, Anthony Iannone; her sisters, Dora Sissenstein (David), and Anita Musa; her dear friends, Jean Pedro, Phil Rano, Mary Cascio and Jean Picciano. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Geno Musa; her sister-in-law, Anna Iannone; her nieces and nephews Rick Musa (Pat), Chris Heide, Jean Musa, Tom Musa (Jennifer), Laurie Rose, Dina O’Connor-Huston (Michael), Marianne Sulich (Mike), Joanne Casiuk (Paul), David Sissenstein, Jr. (Justina), Linda Painter; her special God-Child, Julieanne Fortran; also many great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
She was a retired employee of Endicott Johnson with 47 years of service, an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Church and its choir along with many of its other groups, and a charter member of the Catholic Daughters. Josephine loved baking for her family and friends for any occasion or just to show her love.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday January 30th at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church 300 Odell Ave. Endicott, NY. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 10:00 AM until time Mass at 11:00 AM. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Mercy House 212 N.
