William J. Parrotte, age75 of Johnson City, NY, peacefully ended his battle with cancer in his home on October 10, 2023. He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Mary Parrotte. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years MaryLou (Steier); four daughters Denise Miller (Paul, Jr.), Lori Stone (James), April Chidester (Eric), Jaime Giblin (Clark); five grandchildren McKenna and Rylie Miller, Carter Stone, Bodie and Emery Chidester; four brothers James (Bev), Tom (Maureen), Ron (Liz), Larry (Yvonne); one sister Joyce McGuire-Burt (Steve); one sister-in-law Peggy Finch; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. He retired from Vail Ballou of Kirkwood after 42 years of service. He was an avid fan of the NY Yankees and the best armchair coach the NY Giants ever had. The family extends a very special thank you to Dr. Susan Choi, Lourdes Hospice, especially Millie, Theresa, and Christa for the compassionate care that Bill received. The family will receive friends at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott, NY from 10 AM to 11:30 AM on Monday October 23rd. At 11:30 AM The Rev. Clarence F. Rumble will officiate a funeral service at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Lourdes Hospice.
