Amedeo (Sarge) Sylvester, 83 of Endicott, NY passed away Wednesday November 29, 2023. He was predeceased by his parents Amedeo and Mary Sylvester and his sister Irma Mancini. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years MaryAnn (Fiacco) Sylvester; three children Bryan Sylvester, Scott (Tina) Sylvester, Brenda Sylvester; five grandchildren Alex, Alyssa and Andrea Sylvester, Skylar Sylvester (Christian Folk), Morgan (Alex) Pollinger; his canine companions Catch, Rhoda, Nova and Segal; also several loving nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott where he was an active volunteer. He was a retired employee of Singer Link with over 35 years of service. He was a lifelong member of the Newark Valley Gun Club, the NAWCC, the NRA and the Sons of Italy, Endicott. He was also a master watch and clock repairman. Amedeo was a loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 5th at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 300 Odell Ave. Endicott, NY where a Funeral Mass will be held. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY.
