Wilson Burnard, 65 of the Town of Binghamton passed on June 30th of complications due to Frontal Temporal Dementia. He was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Iris Burnard, his sister Margaret (Peggy) Bennett and his brother Mike Gerard.
He is survived by the love of his life, Karen Burnard who took care of him lovingly for 47 years, his son John Burnard, daughter Marina Burnard and grandson Attilio Agnellino, brothers Jim and Jack Burnard, sisters Joan Incitti and Donna Miller and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Wilson was a Navy veteran, a plumber by trade, following in his Dad's footsteps. He apprenticed in California in Local 582, then moved home and worked in Local 112. He was plumbing Inspector for the City of Binghamton and then went into business for himself.
Wilson was one of a kind. He was a master plumber, (it had to be plumb and square!) He was humble and honest, and would give you the last twenty in his pocket if you needed it (much to his wife's dismay!) He loved his family and friends. He had a unique sense of humor and loved to have a good time. If you knew him you can probably remember his one liners! And he had the best smile!
He will be remembered as a great man and will be missed dearly.
We would like to thank all those who helped take care of him, Vivian, Mary, Wendy, Nicole, Ashley and George. We couldn't have done it without you.
Private services for the family will be held at Leon Pucedo Funeral Home in Endicott. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Broome County Meals on Wheels Program or The Alzheimer's Assn.
