Suzanne J. Tostanoski passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 3, 2024 after a short and difficult fight with cancer. She was an amazing woman and is now reunited with her husband, Mike, her parents and countless rescue cats and dogs. Sue was born in Philadelphia, the daughter of Cecilia and Chester Siminitz, but lived in Endicott for most of her life. She is survived by her devoted children, Jude (Nick) and Terez (Shane), her sister Pam (Bob) and brother, Tad (Chris) and nieces and nephews, Jesse (Brittany), Kyle (Dana),Jordan, sister-in-law Gerry (Bill-predeceased) and nieces Lisa and Sarah. She loved golfing, skiing, tennis, traveling, food, parties and laughing, especially during the holidays. She and Mike enjoyed taking long trips on their motorcycle. She taught elementary school in the Vestal School system for more than 30 years. The family is grateful to Mercy House for their loving and compassionate care. Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 6th at 11:00 AM at The Church of the Holy Family 3600 Phyllis St., Endwell, NY. Burial will be in Calvery Cemetery, Johnson City, NY, at a later date. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Mercy House, Endicott, NY or The Animal Care Council, Endicott, NY.
