Theodora Q. Bryant-Mullen

Theodora Q. Bryant-Mullen passed away peacefully on June 22, 2024 at Good Shepherd Village at Endwell, NY. "Teddy" was born on May 27, 1937 to the late Antonio and Anna Brida Queipo in Peckville, PA. She is survived by her husband of 9 years, James Mullen; Dear mother of Charlie (wife Jennifer), George A., and Tracy Bryant; Sister to the late Ramon Queipo, Aunt to Brett and Brenda Queipo, Sarah Toigo, and Heather, Heath, and Jared Kennedy; Sister-in-law to Linda Queipo, Nancy Janigian, and Carol Kennedy; Loving grandmother to Morgan Bryant; and many other cousins. Teddy was a wonderful mother and a kind, generous woman with a captivating personality who loved and appreciated everyone she came across. Her many accomplishments include her teaching degree from Mansfield State Teacher's College in 1959; Mansfield Homecoming Queen in 1958; a dedicated Home Economics teacher for a combined 30+ years at Honesdale HS (PA), and Susquehanna Valley and Chenango Forks HS (NY); Cub scout den mother, camp counselor, President of the CF Teachers Union, member of League of Women Voters, member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Chenango Bridge, member of Nimmonsburg Rotary, and organized a trip to Spain to see her paternal relatives. She had a love for politics and ran for Broome County legislature. She was always there for everyone, especially her family, and always offered never-ending support to both her students and colleagues during her entire career. She could always recall all of her students' names, their families, and their eventual occupations. Teddy Bryant will never be forgotten. Funeral services will be held at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, 1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott, NY 13760, on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 12 Noon. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral home from 9 AM until time of service at 12 Noon. Burial will be in Hamlin Cemetery, Hamlin, PA at the convenience of the family. For anyone wishing to give in her memory, donations can be made to the Food Bank at St. Mark's Episcopal Church on River Road in Chenango Bridge.
