Gina (Roma) Rea of Endicott, passed away, Saturday September 29, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband, Philip R. Rea; her parents, James and Mary Roma; her brother, Frank Roma. She is survived by three children, Frances (Gary) Guilmette, Philip (Sue) Rea, James (Jan) Rea; four grandchildren, Brian (Lauren) Bogert, Thomas (Taryn) Bogert, Philip, Jr. (Corrine) Rea, Amanda (Nate) McGinnis; nine great-grandchildren, Thomas, Alivia, Ryan, Hayley, Jason, Evelyn, Scarlett, Brevyn, Declan, and #10 Baby McGinnis (in December); her sister-in-law, Anna Marie of Rome, Italy; her dear friend, Elsie Fiato; also many nieces and nephews. Gina enjoyed her family, especially big family gatherings at Easter and Thanksgiving. The family extends a special thank you to the nursing staff of Wilson Hospital’s CCU and South Tower 5, also a sincere thank you to the Endicott Fire Department, Union Volunteer Emergency Squad and “Chris” from Rossi’s Pizza for the care and compassion given to Gina. She was a longtime member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott.
Funeral services will be held, Wednesday 10:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church 306 Odell Ave. Endicott, where a Funeral Mass will be held. Entombment will follow in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott on Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Mercy House 212 N. McKinley Ave. Endicott, NY 13760.
