Rose A. (Rossi) Westcott, 81, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many, went into the arms of Jesus Tuesday evening January 21, 2020 after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Boyd “Butch” Westcott; her parents Giacomo and Carmina Rossi; brothers- in-law Andrew Smith and Robert Moulton. She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law Dr. Mark and Pauline Westcott; Scott and Wendy Westcott; five grandchildren whom she loved dearly above all else; Josh, LeeAnne, Sydney, Chase and Reese Westcott; three sisters and one brother-in-law Mary Smith, Lena and Edward Santelli and Louisa Moulton; her brother Jack Rossi; also many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Rose worked in the food service industry, and was an excellent seamstress who served many of her friends and clients from her  home. Rosie was well known for her social spirit, soup parties, and homemade pasta. She loved sharing good times over coffee and surrounding  herself with friends at all hours of the day. She treasured playing cards with her friends on a weekly basis. She was also an avid watcher of the Hallmark Channel running 24/7 on her TV. After Butch died, Rosie was able to stay home due to the gracious support of her friends and neighbors that helped with groceries, food and errands. Her family is thankful for and appreciates all the support she received over the years with too many friends to mention. She had many wonderful aides that supported her, especially her caregiver Linda. Rosie also enjoyed her weekly visits from Sr. Anisia from St. Anthony’s Church. Her family expresses heartfelt thanks to Dr.’s Rai and Anameze, the entire staff of Willow Point Nursing Home Rehab and the entire staff of Our Lady of Loudes Hospital Seton 1 for the loving care and compassion that was shown to Rosie.

Funeral Services will be held Monday 11:00 am at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott with the Rev. Fr. James P. Serowik Officiating.
