Anita (Kushner) Kaschak, 91 of Endicott, passed away peacefully Monday, December 14, 2020. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph; her parents, Frank and Anna Kushner; her brothers, Robert and Michael Kushner; her sister, Mary Ann (Joseph) Hickey. She is survived by her son, Gary (Theresa) Kaschak; two daughters, Patricia (David) Hamilton, Lynn (Theodore) Trapuzzano; her grandchildren, Nadine, Andrew and Jeffrey Kaschak, John Bango, Theodore, Caitlyn, and Joseph Trapuzzano; her great-granddaughter Quinn Kaschak; her sisters-in-law, Rita Kushner and Helen Kaschak; also many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Orthodox Church, Endicott, and its Ladies Guild, where she was a Past President. She was also instrumental in St. Mary’s Nut Roll sale. She was a former employee of Burt’s Department Store in Endicott. Anita was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed. She has now reunited with her husband and the rest of her family in heaven. The family wishes to thank Karema Williams and the entire staff of 2B at Absolut Care of Endicott for the loving care and compassion that Anita received over the last three years. Funeral services have been postponed due to the recent snow storm and will be rescheduled as soon as possible. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Mary’s Orthodox Church.
