Esther (Nasoni) Jones Michael, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family as she entered her 100th year on October 26, 2021. She was predeceased by her husbands, Charles L. Jones and John Michael; her parents, Romolo and Marie Nasoni; her brother, Baldo Nasoni; her sisters, Mary Cannavino and Christina George; her great-grandsons, Charles Jones and Braydon Lague. She is survived by her children, David Jones, Patricia Sutton, Catherine Massie, Charlene Jones and Elizabeth French(Don); her grandchildren, Nicole Williams, David Jones, Dion Williams, Jillean Lague, Dino Chaves, Angela Chaves and Derek Jones; also eleven great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Mary Jones.
Esther lived a long and loving life with her family and friends and enjoyed many happy years with her grandchildren. She was a former member of the Daughters of Columbus Lodge #1666 and the Stella D’Argento Lodge #1916. Our mom lived her life with a strong will and spirit and an enduring determination to “do it her way”. We would like to thank the entire staff at Binghamton General Hospital for their care, compassion and professionalism during our mother’s final days.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday November 1, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ambrose Church 203 Washington Ave. Endicott, NY. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. The family will receive friends at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott on Sunday, October 31 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her memory be made to Missionaries of the Heart of Jesus 396 Conklin Ave. Binghamton, NY 13903.
