Vivian Valentine (Turrigiano) Virgilio, 85 of Endwell, NY, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday October 28, 2021. She is survived by her beloved children, Janet Roach, Annette Simek (Robert), William Virgilio, Jr.; her precious grandchildren, Benjamin Roach (Connie), Michael Roach, Daniel and Joseph Simek, William Virgilio, III., Robert, Marissa and Victoria Shank; her great-grandchildren, Rocco, Victoria and Nicholas Roach; her sister, Julia Annotto (Nick); her sisters-in-law, Patricia Virgilio, Pam Turrigiano (Mark Tyson); two special cousins, Patricia Calistri and Rose DiRienzo; also several treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren, friends and “showbiz friends” for whom she had a special place in her heart. Vivian was predeceased in 2002 by her husband of 46 years, William J. Virgilio, Sr.; her parents, Benny and Mary Turrigiano; her brothers, Vincent Turrigiano and Peter Saraceno; her brothers-in-law, Donald Virgilio, Thomas Virgilio; her sister-in-law, MaryAnn Virgilio; her aunt, Rose Serafini. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott and its choir; a member of St. Anthony’s Angels; a member of St. Anthony’s Players; a member of EPAC and one of the directors of their Lyric Performers; an honored member of the Daughters of Columbus Lodge, #1666; Vivian was a social butterfly who loved to gather with family and friends. She was an avid and knowledgeable football fan. “Always remember how much I loved you”.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday November 3rd at 1:00 PM at St. Anthony of Padua Church 300 Odell Ave. Endicott, NY. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at St. Anthony’s Church on Wednesday from 11:30 AM until 12:45 PM.
