David J. Hayes of Endwell, age 58, passed away unexpectedly on April 28, 2021. David is survived by his beloved wife, Ellen, daughter, Rebecca Hayes and stepson, Ryan Sharpe, siblings: Robert Hayes, Manassas, VA, Jon and Colleen Hayes, East Brunswick, NJ and Tom and Janet Keys, Nolensville, TN. Nephew- Alan Keys, Nieces- Catherine (Michael) McCarthy, Michelle (Michael) Todisco, Allison Keys, Victoria Hayes and Kelly Hayes. Grandnephew, Michael McCarthy and grandniece Delaney McCarthy. Several Sister and Brother in laws (Norton Family). He was predeceased by his parents Clinton and Roberta Hayes, Brother- Dennis Hayes and sister in law- Mary Hayes.
David was a graduate of Maine Endwell Senior High and SUNY Binghamton. He worked in the Insurance Industry. David was a beloved husband, father, brother and friend and will be greatly missed. David loved all sports including the Boston Red Sox and the San Francisco 49ers. He also loved to play golf. Watching sports with his daughter was a great pastime. David had a great sense of humor and a smile that would light up the room. He was also very generous. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Round Top, Endicott NY, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m..
