Bernard Patrick Donlin Jr. (Pat), one of the biggest Yankee and Giant fans, passed away at Susquehanna Nursing Home on Thursday July 1, 2021 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by his parents Bernard P. Donlin Sr and Lillian Jaycox Donlin; his precious infant sister Jewel; his infant grandson and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his very loving wife of 72 years Mary Kscenics; his son Michael (Vivian); his daughter Jean (Richard Italiano); four grandchildren Patrick Donlin, Christopher Donlin, Rita Italiano and Joe Italiano, 7 ½ great-grandchildren; his brother Bob (Jean) and several other brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews and his sweet yorkie, Misty.

He proudly served in the US Army, 88th Division during WW II in N. Africa and Italy, earning a Bronze Star and several commendations. He was a member of the International Painters Union, Local #103, beginning his career in 1945 and quickly became well known for his strong work ethic and skill. Through the years he worked on many large buildings, churches and schools throughout the community. Pat enjoyed many sports and participated in baseball and horseshoes well into his eighties. He was a well known prankster who worked and played with enthusiasm. Pat lived and died with bravery and courage.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to all who cared for him especially UHS and Susquehanna Nursing Home. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
