Catherine Sanzone, 72, of Johnson City, NY passed away Wednesday July 21, 2021, at Mercy House after a courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Margaret Stadler; her sister Caroline Stadler and her brother John Stadler. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 47 years Dr. Anthony Sanzone; three children Caroline (Jamie) Stella, Michael Sanzone, and Jenna Sanzone; three grandsons Nicholas, Lorenzo and Shane Stella; two brothers Rudy (Maria) Stadler, Robert (Sally) Stadler; her brother-in-law Thomas (Lisa) Sanzone; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was a skillful and caring nurse of 48 years, working for her husband until his retirement and at Southern Tier Imaging of Johnson City. She loved long walks, animals and being outdoors. The family will receive friends at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott, NY on Sunday, July 25,) from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.. There will be no formal funeral services.
