Patricia (Morrissey) Pinkey 87, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving daughter and daughter-in-law in Millis, Massachusetts on the morning of August 10, 2021. She was born in Johnson City, NY and was predeceased by her parents, Patrick and Sylvia Morrissey. Patricia married the love of her life, the late Michael Pinkey, Jr. and they made their home in Endwell, NY where they raised their family. Patricia was a proud, loving and supportive homemaker who welcomed all who entered their home and especially loved her Christmas Eve parties. Patricia joined her daughter Yvonne Pinkey and her wife, Susan Burtoft and her two grandfur babies, Honeydew and Callie who gave her much cuddle time and comfort. Millis Massachusetts is where she enjoyed her last years of life filled with love, laughter and music.
Patricia is survived by her brother John (Jack) Morrissey and his wife Sonja of Vestal; her late sister Maryann Fontana of Nevada and her daughter Michele Malec of Washington and the late Larry Pinkey. She is also survived by cousin Billie-Jo Rozelle of Maine, NY; nieces Melody Fontana of Endwell, NY, Camille Fontana of Nevada, Diane Kramer of Arizona; her nephew Patrick Morrissey of Virginia.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 16, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc., 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott, NY, and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 207 Hayes Ave. Endicott, NY, where a Funeral Mass will be held. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home on Sunday August 15, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
