Bruce H. Barney, Sr. 82 of Endwell, NY passed away peacefully, Thursday January 13, 2022. He was predeceased by his parents, Lewis and Ruth Barney; his brother, Richard Barney; his daughter-in-law, Katie Bliss. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathi Barney; his children, Bruce H. Barney, Jr. (Rebecca), Keith Barney (Rita), Kim Huff, Scott Barney (Dina), Karen Barney (Steve Stetson), Elizabeth Sutro (Alan McNaughton), Tim Sutro (Jodi), Cary Quarry (Ted); his grandchildren, Oliver Barney (Rachel), Trevor Barney (Kathryn), Erica Snyder (Stephen), Zachary Barney (Jessica), Allison Loyd (Mack), Hannah Jarvis (Landry), Kailey Huff, Mykenzie Huff, Jake Barney (Kasaundra), Nick Barney, Luke Barney, Ryon Stetson (Erin), Mary Stetson, Jessica Cook (Mike), Devon Sutro-Blair, Melissa Becker, Alexandria Snider (Ryan), Timothy Sutro; fourteen great-grandchildren; his sister-in-law, Paula Barney; his brother, Lewis Barney (Patricia); his former wife, Ruth Ferrari; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bruce was retired from IBM Owego and Lockheed Martin. He was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman. He was an avid bowler and the league secretary for over 60 years. Bruce most enjoyed attending family sports outings, spending time at Quaker Lake and wandering back roads all over the United States with his wife, Kathi.
Funeral services will be held Monday January 17, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the Living Hope Church 29 Grant Ave. Endicott, NY. Burial will be in Quaker Lake Cemetery in the spring. The family will receive friends at the Living Hope Church on Sunday January 16th from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM and Monday January 17th, from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM. MASKS will be required.
