Raymond L. (Butch) Ward, 79 of the Town of Maine, NY, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday May 21, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by many loving family, friends and cherished pets. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Sylvia; his daughters, Patricia Denmark, Lesley Stokes (David), Andrea Stanley (Scott); his grandchildren, Matt and Nichole Denmark, Parker and Lindsey Stokes, Nate and Mitchell Stanley; his great-grandchildren, James Bowie and Max Welch; his sisters, Brenda Olson (Don), Joyce Wornell (Kevin); his sister-in-law, Burneeda Ward; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a retired employee of Maple Vail Press with 38 years of service.
Private funeral services were held at the convenience of the family, Burial was in Maine Cemetery. Butch was an avid animal lover and would appreciate donations in his memory be made to the Broome County Humane Society 167 Conklin Ave. Binghamton, NY 13903.
