Christos John Totolis

Christos John Totolis, 88, of Bradenton Florida, passed away on May 11, 2022. He was born in Endicott, NY on April 15, 1934 and graduated from Union Endicott High School after which he entered the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, serving on two ships for 4 years as an electrician and 2nd class petty officer. Upon his return, he graduated with a degree in industrial engineering from Oklahoma State University, married Barbara Richards, and raised two children in Wethersfield & Ridgefield, CT. He earned an MBA from the University of Connecticut while working as a computer systems analyst at United Technologies, Pratt & Whitney aircraft division, and Perkin-Elmer. He segwayed into Management Consulting, a job that brought him great satisfaction helping small businesses and start-ups. A colleague introduced him to Mason's Island off of Mystic, CT where he began summering with his family, eventually retiring there. Chris also owned two companies which manufactured semiconductors, photomasks, and printed circuit boards; was an active member of the Greek Order of Ahepa; and enjoyed golf, bowling bocce, family reunions in Greece, and a good off-color joke.

Chris is survived by his wife of 16 years, Karen (Gardner) Totolis, his brother Theo (Cindy) Totolis, and his two children from his first marriage to Barbara Richards who predeceased him: daughter Cynthia Morgan of Perugia Italy, and son John (Lindsey) Totolis of Mount Vernon, NY. He will be sorely missed by his beloved grandchildren Henry, Jack, Sophia, Stella and Christos and over a dozen nieces and nephews from Thessaloniki to the US who adored his big, Cheshire-cat smile and wry humor.

Private funeral services will be held at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott, NY. At the request of the family there will be no public calling hours. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation 4121 O'Hara Dr. Vestal, NY 13850.
