Michael Todd Andrako

Michael Todd Andrako, known by his family as “Pops,” passed away on June 16th, 2022 at the age of 69 surrounded by his family. Son of Joseph & Marirose Andrako, he grew up in a loving household in Endicott, NY.

A Vietnam Vet having proudly served in the United States Navy, Michael was an honorable man with a giant heart. He met the love of his life, Debra Andrako & were married for 50 golden years. Together they raised two boys, Joseph (Jessica) & Michael (Bailey) Andrako. He is survived by a collection of Grandchildren: Giavonna, Marcello, Devon, Luciano, Giovanni, Neiko & Sophie Rose.

Anyone who knew Mike would find joy in his amazing sense of humor & quick wit. He was an avid outdoorsman, finding comfort in both the woods & on the river with his family & best friend.

Michael was a hardworking man having worked a full career for Universal Instruments & later an Xray Technician at University Hospital in Syracuse. After his retirement he worked as a Bus Driver for the Johnson City School District.

Michael Andrako will be remembered as a strong, loyal family man, an unwavering best friend, & an overall amazing human being. His family was the heartbeat & core of who he was. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael’s name to the United Way of Broome County or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 22nd at 10:00 AM at The Most Holy Rosary Church 2596 Main St. Maine, NY 13802. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott, NY 13760 on Tuesday, June 21st from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
