Carol Ann (Smith) Maione, 81, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on July 6th, 2022 in Endicott, NY. She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Tammy and her son, Vincent. She is survived by her husband, Michael Maione Sr., her daughter Pamala (Ray), her son Michael (Leslie), grandchildren Michael (Julie), Matthew (Ericka), Timothy (Amy), Joshua (Chrissy), Brittni, Sam, Ethan, and Maddison, her great grandchildren, two sisters and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Carol was born in Portland, Oregon and spent most of her living years in Endicott, NY. Mom opened her own beauty shop in our home so she could work doing what she loved and also while raising four children and her husband. During her retirement she spent most of her time crafting and cooking, two things she was extremely passionate about. Her quilts, especially, are a testament to her joy of crafting and generosity.
Mom fought hard for each and every one of us. She will always be a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by everyone she touched, most importantly by her family.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday July 11th at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church 300 Odell Ave. Endicott, NY 13760. The family will receive friends at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott, NY on Sunday July 10th from 2 to 4 PM
