Frances Swincicki, March 14, 1925-July 8, 2022
Frances Swincicki, beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, died peacefully at Good Shepherd Village in Endwell, on July 8th, 2022. She was 97 years “young” at the time of her death.
Frances was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Robert Swincicki, and her great granddaughter, Hannah Marie DeMulder. Frances was the youngest of 10 children and was also predeceased by her 9 siblings; Brothers, Jack Lenox, Frank Lenox, Earl Lenox, Steve Lenox and Sisters, Catherine Deinhardt, Mary Sullivan, Esther Baden, Helen Kozen, Ann Race.
Frances is survived by daughter, Debbie DeMulder and her husband, Ed, her grandchildren, Ted DeMulder (Sarah), and Kate Murphy (Josh) and her four great grandchildren Caleb Murphy, Kelsey Murphy, Olivia DeMulder and Emma DeMulder who were a constant source of joy to Frances. She is also survived by nephews, Francis Sullivan and Donald Race and a niece Catherine Deinhardt. She leaves numerous great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews as well.
Frances retired from General Electric after many years of service and was immensely proud of her work assembling Jet Engine parts. However, her real passion in life was her family. Frances dedicated her life to helping family members in any way that she could. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking for others. All those fortunate enough to know Frannie will never forget her banana bread, apple pies and cheesecakes.
Frances was one of the very first residents to move into an independent living apartment when Good Shepherd Village opened. She enjoyed life to the fullest while living there. She spent the last three years of her life living in the Skilled Nursing Unit at Good Shepherd Village. Fran’s family will never forget the care and concern that was shown to her by each and every staff member at Good Shepherd Village.
A Funeral Mass will be held at the Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis St. Endwell, NY on Wednesday July 13th at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. The family will receive friends at the Church on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of Mass at 11:00AM.
