Judith (Judy) R. McFadden

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judith (Judy) R. McFadden who on November 6th, 2023, succumbed to the complications associated with dementia.  Born on October 19, 1942, in Waterbury Connecticut, Judy attended Crosby High School and later studied English Literature at St. Mary of the Plains College in Kansas where she was also a member of the cheer team.   Judy is predeceased by her parents; Gene and Marie Rosselli, brother; Russell Rosselli, and daughter; Beth Anne Petersen.

A devoted and loving wife, mother of five and grandmother to six,

Judy leaves behind her husband of fifty-nine years Bill McFadden, sons; Michael McFadden, Terry (Mary) McFadden, daughters; Kelly McFadden, Erin (Jim) Gross, grandchildren; Johnny Plouffe, Jack McFadden, Jimmy, Samantha, Nathan and Ava Gross, sisters; Noel (Cliff) Paventy, Rosalie (Harry) Taylor, brother in laws; Terry McFadden, Pat (Sheri) McFadden, sister-in-law; Kathy (Bill) Stimmel, and several special cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Judy was firmly grounded in her faith and reveled in her role as a Eucharistic Minister in whatever parish she found herself a member of. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family and relished the opportunity with them to sing and listen to music, shop for antiques, read prayers and poems, play scrabble, and watch the hallmark channel. Among the many things that made Judy so special was her uncanny ability to meet people wherever she went and strike up conversations as if she’d known complete strangers her entire life.  Her kindness and unconditional love made this world a better place.

We would like to give a special thank you to Lorena Graham, Lourdes Hospice and I-Care for their compassion and assistance throughout her ordeal.
