Evelyn Tatich

Evelyn Tatich (July 8, 1922 – July 12, 2023)

Evelyn Tatich, a beloved and deeply religious soul, entered eternal rest on July 12, 2023. 

Born in Binghamton, NY, Evelyn spent her younger years on Prospect Street, surrounded by the love of her family and Slovak traditions. 

Evelyn was a devoted Catholic whose faith was an integral part of her 101 years. She was an active member of St. Joseph’s Church in Endicott. Evelyn’s unwavering trust in God and daily rosary prayer were a guiding light in her life. Her devotion to her faith was evident, as she lived her days with compassion, kindness, and a profound love for God. 

Preceding her in death were her beloved husband, Peter Tatich, her sister, Mary Jane Serowik, and her infant grandson, Clayton Tatich.  Evelyn leaves a legacy of faith and love that continues through her surviving family. She is mourned by her children, Patricia, Robert, Jere, and Denise (Jim Peduto), and her grandsons, Sam and Steven Tatich, who brought her immense joy and pride.

Evelyn will be remembered as a kind-hearted and humble woman who touched the lives of all who were fortunate to know her. 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at 11:00 am. at St. Joseph’s Church, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY.
