Nicholas Batis 70 of Catonsville, Maryland, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday September 24, 2024, at his home. Nick was born in Chios, Greece on February 22, 1954 and moved to Endicott, New York in 1981. He was predeceased by his parents Ioannis and Argyro Batis; his brothers Panagiotis and Georgios Batis; his sisters Maria Tsoukari and Elefteria Kallipoliti. He is survived by his wife of 24 years Anna (Piscopos) Batis; his daughter Argiro (Roula) Batis; two grandchildren Mina Beylo and Thomas Nicholas Beylo; his brother Antonis Batis; his sisters Xanthi Karatza and Despina Verikiou; also many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 2nd at 11:30 AM at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation 4121 Ohara Dr. Vestal, NY 13850. Burial will follow in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell, NY. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 10:30 AM until time of service.
