Francis (Fran) Fetsko of Endicott, New York passed away on November 20, 2024. He is survived and will be dearly missed by his children, Margie Fetsko & Rob Fisher, Mike Fetsko & Samantha Collier, Frank & Maura Shea Fetsko; his four grandchildren Karen & Ryan Schreiber, Erin & Matt Johnson, Casey & Connor Rourke, Bridget Fetsko & Simon Conrad- Reingold; his great grandchildren Jack and Isabel Schreiber; his brother William & Loretta Fetsko, sister Mary Ann & Robert Stadjuhar, and sisters-in-law Rosemary & David Burdick, and Bonita Mandyck. He is predeceased by Lucille Fetsko, his loving wife of 63 years; his son John (Jack) Fetsko, and his parents Michael & Helen Fetsko. Fran was the son of a coal miner, a graduate of the College of Holy Cross, a Captain in the United States Air Force, and had a long career with IBM. He was known for his warm smile, a quick wit, and his love of baseball, especially the Boston Red Sox. He was a loyal friend to many and had several childhood friendships that remained close lifelong friends. He will be most remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. His love of family extended well beyond his immediate family and he always enjoyed time spent with aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Fran was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Endicott, NY and Endicott American Legion Post 1700. The family will be receiving friends and family on Sunday, November 24th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Endicott, NY. A funeral service celebrating Fran’s life will be held on Monday, November 25th at 11:00am Saints Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Endicott, NY. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. The family is grateful to the staff in the Pine Neighborhood and the entire team of caregivers at the NYS Veterans home in Oxford, NY, for providing him exceptional care, comfort and friendship over the past two years.
