It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Margaret Ann Serino on November 18, 2024. She left this world unexpectedly leaving her family and friends heartbroken. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, cherished friend and heart of our family. Her warmth and love made every moment together special. Marge was 82 years old and was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, Ralph A. Serino. She is survived by her children Denise (Craig) England, Annette Serino, Carol (James) Angelo, grandchildren Dylan (Ashley) England, Chelsea England, Emily ( Brian) Perkins, Elizabeth England and great grandchildren Henry and Francis Perkins. She is also survived by her sister Marie (Howard) Terry and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Marge was a graduate of Union Endicott High School. After graduating she worked as a key punch operator at Endicott Johnson Corporation where she met the love of her life, Ralph. Soon after, they were married and began their life in a tiny little house in Endicott. They soon moved on to build their dream home where they lived, loved and created memories for 60 years. She was an outstanding homemaker who took great pride in her home. She never failed to explore her creative side in various jobs along the way. She was unequivocally the family expert in all things. She taught us to cook, sew, wallpaper, and repair any small appliance. She was the epitome of a lifelong learner and never shied away from technology and current events. A stellar example for us all. Along with her family, she is survived by many lifelong friends who we know are also grieving this immense loss. These friends are an extension of our family and gave our Mom so much joy. They enriched her life in ways too numerous to count and her social calendar was always full. As of late, her close friend Jereane Williams was always by her side. Marge was an example of how to be a true and loyal friend. It gives us great comfort to know that she is now with the love of her life who she has missed every single day since he left us one year ago. The fact that she left us on their wedding anniversary is a testament to their love. We are happy to think of them reunited with their dear friends Julie and Gary Lindsey and enjoying their time together for all eternity. She was a presence that all of us felt each and every day. She was known for her unwavering dedication to family traditions, particularly the joy she found in gathering everyone around the dinner table. Her home was always filled with the aromas of her cooking and Sunday dinners were the highlight of everyone’s week. At Margaret’s request there will be no calling hours, a celebration of life will happen later.
