Iolanda Incitti

Iolanda Incitti (88) passed away peacefully on February 18, 2024. She is preceded into heaven by her husband Filippo, her parents Pasquale and Maria (Marietta Tarquini) Incitti, her father and mother in-law Guiseppie and Teresa (Roma) Incitti, her sister Gina and brother in-law Mario Roma, younger brother Mario, brother in-law Rosato. Born on July 31,1935 in Arnara, Italy the second of 5 children. She immigrated to the US in 1960 with her family. In 1961 she was married in Italy and then returned to the US. She was employed by Endicott-Johnson Shoe Factory and retired with over 30 years of service. A wonderful mother to Franco A. and Joan M.(Burnard) Incitti, a proud grandmother To Dr. Franco F. Incitti, M.D. and his fiancé Shannon Daino, PA, and Iris Incitti, PE Teacher Master Degree candidate.

She loved to garden, cook, bake, clean and attending her grandchildren’s music and sporting events. She was a widow at the early age of 46 but kept the house moving forward and instilled a hard work ethic. Iolanda is also survived by her younger sister Lucia and her brother in-law Querino Paniccia, her younger brother Genaro (Jim) and sister in-law Marilyn (Fitzgerald), Sister in-law Rosa (Rinaldi) Incitti Arnara, Italy. Niece Vincenzina {Roma) and husband Arduino Testani , (Arnara, Italy) , Nephew Vincenzo and wife Sandra (Roma) Paniccia, Nephew Gino and wife Kelly (Williams) Paniccia, Niece Kathleen Chin Wake Forest, N.C., Nephew Steven Incitti, Niece Emmiliana Incitti Arnara, Italy. She is also survived many Great nephews and Great nieces. Iolanda could be seen throughout the years finding great shopping deals with her sister Lucia, visiting friends and relatives in Broome County as well as in Italy, and sitting on the porch of her northside house admiring the world. Iolanda also enjoyed spending endless hours dancing, singing and eating Joan’s good food. A special thanks to: the staff at UHS Wilson Hospital’s E.R. and Binghamton General Hospital’s, E.R., Binghamton General Hospital Floors 3M and Palliative Care Units whose names are too numerous to list. You will always be remembered in prayer for helping Iolanda during one of her most difficult times. We also would like to thank the neighbors of Robble Ave for always keeping an eye on her. You all know who you are. A special thanks to the Burnards and their extended families for always including her during holidays and everyday get together.

Please rest in peace Mom, Grandma, Sister, Aunt and Friend. May God bless you into heaven.

Funeral services will be held Thursday February 22nd at 9:30 AM at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott, NY and at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church 300 Odell Ave. Endicott, NY where a Funeral Mass will be held. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home on Wednesday February 21st from 4 to 6 PM.
