Rinaldo “Ron” Roma 86 of Endicott, NY, passed away peacefully after an extended illness on Sunday, May 26th. He was predeceased by his parents Mario and Madeline Roma; his in-laws Arthur and Grace Sementelli; his loving wife of 61 years Rosalyn Roma and his brother John Roma. He is survived by his greatest treasures, his two daughters Debra Roma (Beth Herrick) and Lisa Koban (Bob); his sister-in-law Diane Roma; nieces Michelle (Fred), Denise (Howie); nephew Mark (Stephanie); a special great-nephew Michael Barton (Kelly); great-great niece Briella; great-great nephew Micah; his devoted partner Donna Krzyzewski and her daughters Kim (Francis) and Kris (David); his furry companion “Reilly”; his extended loving family Mary Lou Paoletti, Rich and Paulette Donkersloot, Jim and Patti Koval; also many cousins and dear friends. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church where he was a past Eucharistic Minister and formerly played an active role in the Hope Appeal. He was a former employee of Endicott Johnson and IBM where he was a purchasing manager and ended his career at PB Industries. Ron was a volunteer at the Front Street Animal Shelter, and an avid outdoorsman and animal lover. He was known for his kind loving personality and generous spirit, but he will be best remembered as a devoted father, family man, and friend.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, June 1st at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church 300 Odell Ave. Endicott, NY. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at St. Anthony’s Church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass at 11:00 AM.
