Michael Kopcho 93 of Endicott passed away Sunday July 28, 2024. He was predeceased by his wife Joan (Kovalick) in 2011; his daughter Jane Tapio; his parents Andrew and Sophie Kopcho. He is survived by five children Julie (Louis) Nardella, Michael Kopcho, Martin (Jennifer) Kopcho, Joanne Kopcho, Joyce (Andrew) Kerr; seven grandchildren Joseph (Lauren), Jennie (Greg), Benjamin, Jacob, Sophie, Julie and Troy; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Endicott and its former Cantor with 39 years of service. He was a retired IBM employee, a former member of the Union-Endicott School Board and an honorary member of the O. L. Davis Fire Co.
Funeral services will be held Friday August 2nd at SSs. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic 106 N. Rogers Ave. Endicott, NY at 2 PM. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Richmondale, PA at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at SSs. Peter and Paul Church on Friday August 2nd from 12:30 PM until the time of service at 2 PM.
