Anthony Mark Barbara, age 52, of West Haven, Connecticut passed away on August 26, 2024.
He is predeceased by his mother Gioconda Barbara; his grandparents Antonino and Cecilia Barbara, Giovanni and Francesca Gasbarra. He is survived by his father, Carlo Barbara; his sister, Jacqueline Barbara and partner Albert Subbloie and his nephew Marcus; along with many close family and friends.
Anthony graduated from Union Endicott High School. He then became a certified auto body technician; restoring cars became his passion and hobby. Anthony enjoyed music and playing his drums. For a period of time, he joined a music band in Connecticut and would perform at local establishments. He found joy
and solace on his many walks near his home on the West Haven beaches.
Funeral services will be held Saturday September 7, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church 300 Odell Ave. Endicott, NY. Entombment will follow in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell, NY. The family will receive friends at St. Anthony's Church on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of Mass at 10:00 AM.
